Notice of Online Interview for Applicants of Graduate Programs 2022

Dear Applicants of Graduate Programs 2022,

The online interview of the College of Control Science and Engineering (CSE), Zhejiang University (ZJU) is going to start. The interview platform is Tencent Meeting (��Ѷ����), and the interview will be recorded on file for internal use only. Please get well prepared in advance, including a separate and quiet room with good Internet connection, a proper hardware device, software installation, etc.

More details of the interview arrangements will be noticed by follow-up emails. Please keep a close attention to your application mailbox and give prompt reply.

1. Interview Preparation

CSE will form work groups for interview. The group assistant will contact you in advance for both identity and technical check.

2. When Is the Interview

The interview season starts from the end of March, 2022. Please give prompt reply to the emails of interview notice.

3. How the Interview Works

The interview consists of Two Parts. Part I is a 10-minute Presentation with PPT slides, including but not limited to your self-introduction, personal experience, research experience and projects, research achievements, etc. Part II is a 10-minute Q & A Session, with questions to evaluate your professional capability, research creativity, overall quality, language competence, etc.

After the interview, the work group will make the decision of preliminary admission, and report it to the CSE Graduate Admission Committee.

Interview Requirements:

1) PPT slides (16:9 format) should be no more than 10 pages. Please name the file as "Application number - Applicant��s name", and submit it within the time specified by the group assistant. It is suggested to submit both PPT and PDF versions to ensure it works normally.

2) The attending sequence of applicants will be assigned randomly by the work group, and you will be informed during the review procedure.

3) The interview duration of each applicant is 20 minutes. On the day of interview, the group assistant will keep in touch with you in advance. You will be staying in a waiting room until you are invited into the meeting room when it��s your turn.

4) You��re required to attend the interview alone by yourself. Please attend the interview ON TIME and join the meeting room at least 10 minutes earlier than your scheduled time. You might lose the interview opportunity if you miss the appointment, and it will be decided by the work group if you can get a second chance.

5��If you decide to give up the interview opportunity, it is required to inform the work group by email at least 1 day in advance.

4. Admission Results

The admission results will be announced by the ZJU Office of Admissions, and you will be informed via the Online Application System for International Students (Link).

ZJUCSE shall be responsible for the interpretation of this Notice.
