Innovative techniques were developed in key technologies such as system architecture and device redundancy. The system’s cost/performance ratio was significantly superior comparing to domestic and foreign counterparts, was widely used in paper manufacturing, oil refinery and fertilizer manufacturing industries. It also broke the long-time foreign monopoly of high-end industrial automation systems in China's market and yielded significant economic and social benefits. In 2006, it was awarded the 2nd class National Scientific Technology Progress Award.
